Who we are

Lanka Arrivals & Tours is a transport and tour operator based at No 409/2, Munidasa Kumarathunga Mawatha, Kurana, Katunayake, Sri Lanka. SLTDA registration is in progress, and we will publish our licence number here once it is issued. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +94 77 508 7327 or at bookings@lankaarrivals.com.

Bookings

A booking is made when you submit the booking form or confirm a quote with us on WhatsApp. We confirm by email and WhatsApp. Airport and long-distance trips are best booked 12 to 24 hours ahead. Day tours, safaris, activities and taxi hire are quoted on request: the price we send you on WhatsApp is the price you pay.

Fares and payment

The fare shown for an airport transfer is fixed for the journey. Expressway tolls and parking fees are not included and are paid directly at the toll gate or parking counter; an all-inclusive price can be requested when you book. Any night surcharge is shown in the quote before you confirm. Payment is made to the driver on arrival, in cash in USD, EUR, GBP or LKR. If you prefer to pay by card, ask us on WhatsApp and we will send you a secure payment link. Conversions to other currencies are indicative.

Changes and cancellations

Change or cancel by replying to your confirmation on WhatsApp. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup. We do not charge a fee for later cancellations at present, but please tell us as early as you can so we can release the vehicle and driver. If we have to cancel or change a booking, we will tell you as early as we can and arrange another vehicle or refund anything you have paid.

Flight delays and waiting time

For airport pickups we track your flight using the number you give us, so a delay does not cancel your pickup. Your driver waits up to 60 minutes after your flight lands at no charge. If you expect to be later than that, message us, and we will tell you before the trip if any waiting charge applies. For all other pickups, please be ready at the agreed time.

Passengers, luggage and child seats

Choose a vehicle that fits your group and bags; seat and bag limits are shown for each vehicle. If your group or luggage is larger than booked, the driver may not be able to carry everyone safely, and we may need to send a larger vehicle, which can change the fare. Child seats are available on request for USD 10 per seat for the journey. Children must travel in a suitable seat where you have asked for one.

Tours, safaris and activities

Your quote states what is included. Park, entrance and activity fees are paid separately unless the quote says otherwise. Wildlife sightings, weather, park closures and sea or river conditions are outside our control and are not guaranteed; we may adjust the plan for safety.

Conduct and safety

Seat belts must be worn. Our drivers may refuse or end a journey if passengers behave in a way that puts anyone at risk. Please do not leave valuables in the vehicle; we are not responsible for items left behind, but we will help you recover them.

Liability

We take care to provide a safe, reliable service. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, road closures, weather or other events outside our control. We recommend travel insurance.

Complaints and law

If something went wrong, tell us as soon as you can at bookings@lankaarrivals.com and we will put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
